LYNX Lining TPU wear protection linings – used to reduce noise
LYNX Lining TPU wear-resistant panels offer very universal use and have helped to make working conditions more pleasant for employees.
In industrial plants where semi-finished metal products are manufactured using stamping, bending, deep drawing and die casting, there is often a high noise level when these metal parts are transported over steel chutes or vibrating chutes.
These semi-finished products, which are manufactured using sheet metal forming or zinc die-casting, often have sharp edges that arise during production and are only removed in the next step by deburring.
In a field test at a large industrial company, we were able to achieve a significant reduction in noise in addition to less wear and tear on the production machines thanks to the use of LYNX Lining TPU. Measurements have shown that the LYNX Lining TPU coating achieves a noise reduction of 21dB compared to measurements without coating on the steel surface. An additional positive effect of our coating is that we can significantly reduce vibrations on the production machines thanks to the dampening effect. This fact has a major impact on the longer service life of the system components and also protects employees from damage to their health as they operate these machines every day.
Another application example is the use of LYNX Lining TPU in injection molding machines. We were able to help a customer significantly reduce the noise level in a production hall equipped with several dozen injection molding machines. In the production of components for electric vehicles, complex connectors in various sizes are made from fiber-reinforced plastic. These components are manufactured in large quantities and therefore the plastic parts often fall from the injection mold into the collection hopper, from where they are transported to the packaging via conveyor belts.
We were able to convince the customer with our solution and all production facilities have now been equipped with LYNX Lining TPU wear-resistant panels.
LYNX Lining TPU in thicknesses of 2 mm, 3 mm, 5 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm in rolls, Br = 1,515 mm (red) is in stock at our dealers with a short delivery time.
In addition to the standard roll goods, there is also LYNX Lining Komfort (installed on carrier sheet) in dimensions e.g. 3,000 mm x 1,515 mm or LYNX Lining Ultra (impact-resistant with damping layer) installed on carrier sheet --> see link Products https://lnkd.in/d_KYB89t
