LYNX Lining TPU wear protection linings – application examples
LYNX Lining TPU wear-resistant panels offer very universal use and have convinced our customers in endurance tests.
We often use LYNX Lining when the customer has a problem and is urgently looking for a suitable solution.
It is often the case that we compare 1:1 with the wear protection material previously used or with other competitor products.
The performance of the wear protection product is simply measured in terms of durability, cost savings, reduction in noise, caking and downtime. When the customer chooses LYNX Lining wear protection solutions and then recommends us, this is the highest form of recognition we can enjoy.
Depending on the area of application, various factors play a role when selecting the right wear protection. In addition to a longer service life and the wear protection previously used, the issue of weight reduction plays a major role. Especially when it comes to transport vehicles, the issue of weight is a crucial factor that offers huge savings potential over their entire service life. We heard from a customer that with our LYNX lining we helped him save 300 kg in weight compared to the previously used tipper body with steel wear protection. This weight reduction has a 1:1 effect on a higher payload and helps to transport goods more economically. Especially in e-mobility, the weight of the vehicle plays an even greater role and with a lighter version, this has an effect on a greater range with the same amount of energy and helps save costs.
In many cases, LYNX Lining is used because it helps to reduce noise in production and thus protect the health and improve the working conditions of employees.
In gravel and concrete production systems, the components that need to be protected from wear are often difficult to access or are located at exposed heights, where the weight of installing the wear protection parts is a challenge and the use of a crane is necessary. LYNX Lining TPU wear protection has a clear advantage compared to steel (1/6 weight) and is also elastic and can be flexibly adjusted.
In addition to the standard roll goods, there is also LYNX Lining Komfort (installed on carrier sheet) in dimensions e.g. 3,000 mm x 1,515 mm or LYNX Lining Ultra (impact-resistant with damping layer) installed on carrier sheet --> see link Products https://lnkd.in/d_KYB89t
